Privacy
Your confidentiality is an important part of your appointments. Reasonable steps are taken to protect your personal information and maintain privacy when providing appointments to you when online. Cherie uses a secure platform to provide this service. As with any internet-based communication, no technology can guarantee absolute security or 100% seamless connection.
It is important that you are able to guarantee privacy at your end. Using headphones may be helpful but not essential. At the beginning of the appointment, Cherie will confirm your privacy, identity and location and make sure you are comfortable proceeding with the appointment.
How do I attend the appointment?
At the scheduled time, simply click the Zoom link sent to you. This will connect you to the appointment where Cherie will greet you. You may need to wait for her to be available similar to a physical waiting room. Zoom links are typically sent the day before your appointment.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of appointment and if you have provided your credit/debit card details and permission, payment, and any Medicare rebates will be automatically processed.
What do I need to set up for telehealth?
Appointments are conducted via a secure Zoom link, which will be provided to you before your appointment. You will need an internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone such as a phone, tablet, laptop or computer. Please have a phone nearby in case the connection drops out.
Find a private, quiet and comfortable space where you can speak freely without being overheard or interrupted. Please avoid joining appointments from public places or while driving.
